It looks like the National Seashore is getting ready for a busy summer on the water, as the PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices) are all airing out in the sun and getting ready to be used this busy summer season.
The yellow Buttercup wildflowers are blooming all along the trails at Fort Hill. They are just beautiful and bring a splash of color to the trails. (Click on blog link for other photos. )

There are so many Willets chattering and flying about at Fort Hill. I’ve never seen so many there.
I loved this photograph of this Willet standing on top of the bush with the sun shining on it, just yakking away! The colors and shadows were so pretty. What do you think?
