Red-Tailed Hawk In My Bird Bath Again On Cape Cod!

hawkfeeder1

I know I already posted some photographs of this same Red-Tailed Hawk in my birdbath, but these new ones are priceless!

I heard some noise outside the other day about dinnertime so I opened the slider to see what it was and this Red-Tailed Hawk was staring at me from the bird bath!

The first photograph is of him staring at me, the 2nd one is of him with his beak wide open and the last one is of him gargling after he had taken a drink of water from the bird bath. How funny! And during all this, he jumped in the bath and got all wet and shook off his feathers. It was hilarious! He was in there for quite some time.

The photographs are all taken from inside the house, but came out much clearer than the last batch!

Pretty cool, huh?
