It’s been so hot lately that it’s no surprise to see so many people at Nauset Light Beach in the evening enjoying a little bit of cool by the water. Such a pretty view, don’t you think?
It was a beautiful summer evening at Coast Guard Beach. You could feel the difference in temperature just walking from the parking lot to the beach. It’s the perfect time to enjoy a nice cool, summer walk on the beach without too many people there.

This boat was the only one that was brave enough to go out in the foggy and windy conditions on Little Pleasant Bay. We saw him come into shore very quickly with the strong winds behind him.
We took a drive down to Boat Meadow Beach yesterday morning and there, sitting with her chair in the water, was someone who had found the perfect spot to cool off in this hot, humid weather. I loved it!
The flowers were blooming and the setting was just perfect looking out toward Wellfleet Harbor. I loved the fence, the cottage and the multitudes of wild roses blooming in the field. So pretty and summery, don’t you think?
