Gorgeous Lupine Blooming At Fort Hill On Cape Cod.

The Lupine wildflowers are blooming and so pretty at Fort Hill this year.  (Click on blog link for other photo.)

I think we all look forward to this time of the year to see these spectacular wildflowers dot the landscape at Fort Hill overlooking Nauset Marsh.

The Willets Are Plentiful And Noisy At Fort Hill On Cape Cod.

There are so many Willets chattering and flying about at Fort Hill. I’ve never seen so many there.
I loved this photograph of this Willet standing on top of the bush with the sun shining on it, just yakking away! The colors and shadows were so pretty. What do you think?

Overlooking Ballston Beach In Truro On Cape Cod.

The view overlooking Ballston  Beach from the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail is just spectacular. (Click on blog link for other photo. )

And then you see this house on stilts right on the edge of the dunes and you wonder what Mother Nature has in store for it…

Love The Piping Plovers At Coast Guard Beach On Cape Cod.

It seems like we spend the last part of the winter waiting patiently for our favorite birds to return  for the new season. (Click on blog link for other photo.)

We saw a few Piping Plovers scurrying about the beach the other day. They were down by the water and up high on the beach running in and out of the seaweed. We didn’t see any babies… maybe it’s still a bit early. We didn’t see any nests either, but they are usually  well hidden.

Have you seen any Piping Plovers this season?
