I passed this simple Conch Shell which someone had placed on a post by a trail to the beach on Wellfleet Bay on Cape Cod. Conchs are a type of sea snail, and are also a popular seafood in some areas.
So simple and yet so pretty. It just caught my eye.
I love this photograph of this Seagull standing on the sign for Fort Hill above Nauset Marsh in Eastham on Cape Cod. Fort Hill is one of my favorite places to hike and go birding on Cape Cod. It has a series of trails which you can take in the woods or out by the marshes.
This Seagull is showing you the map of the area so you can decide what you would like to do!
Nauset Beach in Orleans on Cape Cod is the perfect beach, in-season and off-season. It is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore and just a gorgeous beach to walk for miles and miles.
I love this photograph of the entrance to Nauset Beach with the beautiful clouds in the background. The parking lot is fairly empty, only the die-hards who love the beach at any time.
The wooden fence, the beach grass, the sky with the clouds and the ocean… at Nauset Beach in Orleans on Cape Cod. Nauset Beach is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on Cape Cod. It goes on for miles and miles. Nauset Beach is gorgeous from sunrise to sunset. Bring your camera and take a look…any time, any season.
This flock of birds was flying by on the shore of Wellfleet Bay in migration formation so we quickly got our cameras out and clicked away. And there, as if forming a circle above, was part of a rainbow as we looked up.
Very cool. Wishing you all a Happy New Year and may you find a rainbow in the New Year!
