The wind has been blowing this winter, that’s for sure! It makes for some big waves at Coast Guard Beach. This is always such a pretty view looking down the path toward the beach.
This was such a pretty morning at Fort Hill with the sun peeking out from behind the heavy bank of clouds. You can even see the sun shining on the water over Nauset Beach in the distance.
I always seem to take the same iconic photograph at the overlook at Marconi Beach. I tried a different angle this time and I think I like it. You can see the broken down fence right at the edge of the dune.
My mantra is always, “Don’t ever leave home without your camera!”
I was so glad that I had my camera on my shoulder at Fort Hill the other day. I looked out into the field and saw a flash of blue. I quickly got my camera out and clicked. I only got one photograph and this is it.
I love the walk from Doane Rock to Coast Guard Beach and then back again. It means that you have to walk on this bridge over the salt marsh and it is always so pretty… even in the middle of winter!
