I frequently see Swans on the Salt Pond by the Visitors Center but I rarely see them swimming on Nauset Marsh. They were just beautiful as I took a photograph of them through the opening of the trees at Fort Hill.
We saw this interesting kayak that had washed up by Nauset Marsh the other day. We wondered how long it’s been out there and where it’s been. I bet it has lots of stories to tell…
This was such a pretty sunrise over the Salt Pond looking out toward Nauset Marsh, I thought it would be a perfect blog to wish you all a very Happy New Year from sunrise to sunset.
I love the dunes along the beaches on Cape Cod. They are so massive and so high that they take your breath away. This view from Marconi Beach is pretty awesome, don’t you think?
Even without the summer wildflowers and butterflies, Fort Hill is a wonderful place to hike during any season. There are still plenty of birds to see and the views from the trails are breathtaking.
I loved this trail with the gorgeous clouds overlooking Nauset Marsh. Have you ever hiked at Fort Hill?
