It’s a great time of year to hike the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail, part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. It’s been cool enough that there are no bugs! (Click on blog link for other photo.)
It’s a great trail for the whole family as both kids and adults enjoy walking on the boardwalk over the swamp. Have you ever done this hike?
It was a gorgeous day for a hike at the Audubon and what a day for bird watching! We saw at least 40-50 Egrets and 10 Great Blue Herons by the little ponds on the salt marsh. It was such a beautiful sight! Wow!
Nauset Marsh Trail is one of my favorite trails. It is always so pretty and there is so much to see. No matter how many times you hike over this bridge on the trail by the salt pond, it always looks different and always so pretty.
Yesterday was summer-like as we walked the trails at Kent’s Point in Orleans. It was still shorts and t-shirt weather and just beautiful! I loved this view of the sailboats waiting for their next ride out to Pleasant Bay.
When we first moved here, we never saw anyone on this path or on the beach nearby. Many people now have discovered its beauty. It’s still one of my favorites!
