Pretty soon the trails to the beaches on Cape Cod will be busy with people again. This path to Marconi Beach is so pretty with the fence on either side.
Classic Cape Cod…
The Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail in Truro has a huge diversification of things to see and explore. One of my favorite parts is hiking up and over the dunes toward the end of the trail. (Click on blog link for other photos.)
The views of Ballston Beach and the ocean are just spectacular!
It’s a great hike just out to the dunes and then back down. You won’t be disappointed!
There are lots of Mockingbirds at Fort Hill this season and they sure do love to pose to have their picture taken! This guy sat on top of the branch near the beginning of the trail for quite a while as we clicked away. So many poses…
Gorgeous bird, don’t you think? Have you seen any Mockingbirds this year?
I was hiking on the trail at Fort Hill by the water’s edge yesterday morning when I noticed that it was really low tide. I had never seen it that low there. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
Usually at low tide I can see the first 3 taller rocks jutting out from the shore but there were so many more that you could see. And I don’t remember ever seeing such a large sandbar behind the rocks. Wow!
I couldn’t decide which photograph I liked better: the one with the water and sand in the foreground or the one with the beach grass. What do you think?
