We were hiking at Nickerson State Park when I noticed something blue at the top of one of the dead trees in the middle of the trail. At first I thought it was a blue trail marker, but what would it be doing way up there? (Click on blog link for other photo.)
As I got closer and hiked by it, I realized when I turned around that it was a hand-painted seashell that said, “Stay Safe.” It was meant to be seen by hikers going in the opposite direction.
What a wonderful, little thoughtful message that someone placed there for everyone to see. Thank you to whomever put it there. I’m sure it will bring a smile to many people’s faces.
The Silver Springs Loop is one of our favorite hikes at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. It is so diverse and you never know what you will see. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
I took these 2 photographs across the bridge on the hike. I couldn’t decide if I like the horizontal or vertical one better. What do you think?
It was a beautiful fall day for a hike at Nickerson State Park in Brewster. There are so many different and diverse trails to choose from, it’s hard to decide which one to take.
This was such a pretty photo with the sun and the blue sky in the background. What do you think?
The sky was just beautiful at First Encounter Beach the other day. I couldn’t decide if I liked the horizontal or vertical one better. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
The trails were all open, but many were one way, and the fall colors were amazing. I loved this photograph of Silver Spring from one of the little docks. The reflections were so vibrant!
