I loved this photograph of the sailboats moored in Wellfleet Harbor before the end of summer. It looks so simple and peaceful.
Now, if you venture up to Wellfleet Harbor, you will find that most of the boats in the harbor are all put away for the winter. Only a few remain in the slips behind the pier.
I love this view from Kent Point looking out over the river. It looks so peaceful with the sailboats in the water and the little boathouse in the background.
These Double-Crested Cormorants were perched on this little float in Stage Harbor in Chatham. They looked so funny! I love how they spread their wings to dry them.
It was the perfect day and the perfect place for the paragliders to set up and show everyone what they do! And, were they good! It was so much fun to watch them maneuver up and down the beach… over the water and over the dunes. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
In doing some reading, I did not realize that White Crest is one of the few approved “launching sites” in Massachusetts for paragliders and hang gliders. How cool… and right in our back yard!
I loved these 2 photographs of their colorful para gliders. The sky, as well as the para gliders, was amazing!
