This Song Sparrow was singing away atop of this post along the side of the road at Fort Hill. The funny part was… it kept answering a Red-winged Blackbird nearby. Every time the Red-winged Blackbird would call out, this Song Sparrow would answer it.
It was a gorgeous, windy day at Fort Hill and the clouds were spectacular! I took a nice long hike and didn’t get many photographs as it was so windy… until I got to the top parking lot and started walking back down to my car.
This is what I saw… it doesn’t get much prettier, do you think? Have you been to Fort Hill lately?
The Monarch butterfly is gorgeous wherever you see it. This particular one landed on this purple flower in our yard. I clicked away and realized afterward that I had 3 different poses of the Monarch. (Click on blog link to see other 2 photos.)
