The 5 petals, which are 1 to 1 1/2″, are so deeply notched that they look like 10 petals. White Campions bloom from June through August so you can still find them on roadsides , fields and open areas.
Usually when I go biking at 6:00 am I rarely see anyone, but this particular morning there was someone who had just launched their Sunfish at Boat Meadow Beach.

It is the most wonderful feeling getting on my bike at 6:00 in the morning before most people are even awake and taking that 10-12 mile bike ride. There is no one around, except that occasional other biker so you have the whole place to yourself.
The views are breathtaking and each day is totally different, depending on the weather and the tides. I took this photograph of my bike at Boat Meadow when it was almost high tide.
