It’s fun for the kids to see real whale bones at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. You can see them shortly after you head out on the main trail by the Nature Center.
I was having fun taking photographs of the bones as Phil clicked away!
It was a glorious day to take a hike at Morris Island in Chatham. There is an overlook where you can see South Beach and then Monomoy Island in the distance.
I thought a panoramic photograph would be perfect. What do you think?
This is such an awesome photograph of this “beach cottage” in Chatham on Cape Cod. It is all closed up for the winter, so it must just be a summer residence.
Pretty impressive, don’t you think?
I took it in color and black and white. Which one do you like better? Two totally different perspectives…
The Bufflehead is one of the most unique-looking ducks that I’ve seen. I love the big white spot on the back of their heads. The female Bufflehead has a small spot on the side of her head.
I saw these Buffleheads at Nauset Marsh. They didn’t come close enough to get a great photograph, but you can see what they look like.
Have you ever seen a Bufflehead? They are here from October to May and then they migrate up to northern Canada!
