When the old Town Hall used to be way up on the hill where Pilgrim Monument currently is, burned down in 1877, the only thing that didn’t burn was the safe. They were able to keep it and bring it down to the new Town Hall on Commercial Street downtown. It is really cool to see.
The Provincetown Town Hall has so much memorabilia which is open to the public and fascinating to learn about!
I had to take some photographs of this beautiful Bluebird in my yard here on Cape Cod. This one was sitting on a branch in front of an Evergreen tree. I loved the dark green background.
It was a gorgeous day for a walk from Doane Rock to Coast Guard Beach last weekend through the woods and over the salt marsh. It is still a bit cold, especially with the winds, so we haven’t put away our winter parkas yet. Hopefully soon!
I love the walk down to the water through the dunes at Coast Guard Beach. So pretty, don’t you think?
Our bird feeders and bird bath have been inundated with American Goldfinches! They are so cute! Most of them are still pretty dark in coloring. They start to turn bright yellow in March through October, so we should start to see them brighten up quite a bit!
This little guy was so cute as he leaned way down to get a drink.
