It’s been a very chilly week here on Cape Cod with more snow expected this afternoon. The wind chill for tomorrow is supposed to be in the single digits. Brrr!
There is quite a bit of ice on Boat Meadow Creek. I really like the circular patterns of snow on the ice. So pretty…
Yesterday morning was just spectacular at Fort Hill. You could see the sun trying to peek through the clouds forming these beautiful rays of sun. It almost looked celestial. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
I thought it would be fun to edit it in a different way. What do you think?
I always love seeing this “tree foot” on the trail in Nickerson State Park in Brewster. It looks just like a big animal but you can only see its foot on the trail. It always brings a smile to my face. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
Have you ever seen this “tree foot” at Nickerson? Pretty cool, don’t you think?
It was a gorgeous morning to take a drive to Provincetown and scout all of the beaches along the way. This view from the Marconi Beach overlook near where the Atlantic White Cedar Swap Trail begins was so pretty with the sun shining high in the sky!
We have so many Red-breasted Nuthatches in our yard here on the Cape. They are constantly at our feeders or birdbath. This was a very cold day and the water at our heated birdbath was a lot warmer than the air. This guy stayed for a long time!
Beautiful little guy, don’t you think?
