With the three major storms this past week and heavy rain and wind, the tides have been huge! Yesterday was quite an adventure! (Click on blog link for other photos.)
Bridge Rd. was closed about an hour before high tide as the salt marsh washed over the road.
At Rock Harbor, Young’s Seafood Market had lots of water in the parking lot and the road behind it was flooded.
You can see the water rising up by the launch area and into the parking lot as the tide came in. Wow! Crazy tides lately!
The tide was so high yesterday at Nauset Marsh that the 3 rocks leading to the trail at Hemenway Landing were almost under water. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
Wow! Pretty high tide, don’t you think? We sure have had a lot of them lately!
This was such a pretty sunset at Boat Meadow Beach where you can see the reflection of the sun on the water. Winters here on Cape Cod always have such beautiful sunsets.
Skaket Beach in Orleans is always so photogenic, especially at low tide when you can see those huge “flats” going way out. I love all of the pastel colors. Look at that sky! What do you think?
Coast Guard Station was pretty spectacular after the snows over the weekend. I loved this photograph with those gorgeous clouds in the background. What do you think? (Click on blog link for other photo.)
I also love the drive from Coast Guard Station… so pretty!
