Yesterday we were having our picnic lunch at Boat Meadow when I looked at my side window and there was a little Egret that had just landed between the cars. He was just adorable.
I quickly got my camera but only got one click. This is it!
I’ve never had an Egret so close to me. He was no farther than 4 feet away. He looked up at me for a few seconds and probably realized where he was and flew away.
Commercial Street is always a fun place to wander around. It is so funky and there is so much to see. If you ever visit Cape Cod, make sure you put Provincetown on your list. You can even get a delicious ice cream cone or slice of pizza from Twisted Pizza. Love their fun ice cream cone out front!
I always love to stop in Wellfleet and watch the boats or whatever else is going on the harbor. It’s such a beautiful place. This was so pretty looking out at low tide toward Jeremy Point. Love that sky! It looks like a water color painting…
