Yesterday was a gorgeous morning for a hike on the Nauset Marsh Trail by the Visitor’s Center. There was still quite a bit of snow on the trail but we had our hiking poles which were very useful on the steeper parts.
That is such a beautiful hike any time of the year, and so pretty with all of the snow.
After the huge snowstorm on Tuesday, yesterday was just gorgeous for a snowy walk in the woods. It was like a winter wonderland in Wiley Park with the snow-laden trees and bushes. So pretty!
With all of the rain that we’ve had this winter, the ponds are pretty high. I always love to take a hike at Wiley Park where you can see all of the little cut-outs through the trees and bushes to the water.
I love the Alltrails App for hiking whether it be here on Cape Cod or out in one of the national parks. There are so many different trails that are already on the app or you can make your own. It’s so easy. (Click on blog link for other photos.)
At first glance you can see the trail length, difficulty, elevation gain and average time. You can even preview the trail which takes you on the actual trail.
This was one trail that we made at Nickerson State Park in Brewster. AllTrails also has a feature that dings if you make a wrong turn.
Have you ever used the AllTrails App? It is so much fun to plan your own hike or use one of theirs.
