It was such a treat to see the Bluebirds at our feeders again this week. We used to see them all year long at our feeders but they left at the beginning of the summer and we haven’t seen them since. Fingers crossed that they stay around for a bit!
I always love hiking Little Cliff Pond at Nickerson. It is so pretty and so diverse. You get views of 3 ponds and so much more. There are even many off-trails for you to explore. Have you ever hiked the Little Cliff Pond Trail?
What a wonderful New Year this is going to be at our house. Look who moved into our new owl house! We put the owl house up this past fall and were hoping for a new tenant. What a treat this will be… an Eastern Screech Owl!
Eastern screech owls are usually monogamous and mate for life, They start their mating in the winter and usually lay their eggs in late February or March. Finger crossed….
