Last Day To Park Here At Rock Harbor On Cape Cod.

Today is the last day this fall to park in the parking lot by Young’s Seafood at Rock Harbor and get this beautiful view.  The work for changing how the boats will dock there and adding new slips starts this week and should take quite a while.

You can see the fishing boats that were previously docked by Young’s are now using the slips on the other side. They all look like they are “ready to go!”

I couldn’t decide which photo I liked better… what do you think?

Donnelly & Richardson At Orleans “Pop Up Practice” Yesterday On Cape Cod.

“Poised at the “elbow” of Cape Cod and boasting a rich maritime heritage, Orleans offers everything people come to the Cape for — beautiful beaches, pristine waterways, picturesque historical sites and one-of-a-kind… everything. With a year-round population near 5,800, you might call us a small town. But we have a BIG focus on the arts. In fact, Orleans was one of the first Massachusetts communities to be officially designated a cultural district by the Massachusetts Cultural Council (out of a total 351 towns and cities in the Commonwealth).”

Yesterday’s Pop-Up Concert at Parish Park featured Peter Donnelly and John Richardson: “Donnelly & Richardson is the coming together of two established Provincetown performers, Peter Donnelly (Coffeehouse at the Mews) and Jonathan Richardson (Crown & Anchor). Together they bring a dynamic and memorable presentation of original and popular music. These talented songwriters and entertainers combine beautiful vocal harmonies, multiple instrumentation and plenty of laughter to their engaging performances.”

These popular “pop-up practices” continue through November, so you still have plenty of time to enjoy them.

The “Other” Coast Guard Beach On Cape Cod… In Truro.

I was so surprised a couple of years ago to learn that there is “another” Coast Guard Beach on Cape Cod. This one is in Truro and is just beautiful! (Click on blog link for other photo.)

Did you know that there are two Coast Guard Beaches on Cape Cod?

Spectacular Sunrise Over The Salt Pond Yesterday Morning On Cape Cod.

Yesterday the forecast was for rain, so we got up early and headed out to the gym. On our way home, the sky turned a myriad of spectacular colors! Oh my! It was just gorgeous!

This was just one of the incredible photos I got at the Salt Pond on our way back home. Look at those reflections!  It seemed like everywhere you looked was prettier than the place before!

Wow! Were you lucky enough to see this magnificent sunrise yesterday?
