The yellow Buttercup wildflowers are blooming all along the trails at Fort Hill. They are just beautiful and bring a splash of color to the trails. (Click on blog link for other photos. )
Have you seen all of the wildflowers along the trails at Fort Hill? So pretty…
There is a little grove of Bluebells and some other little wildflowers growing in the woods near my home. I saw them last year about this same time, but this year they seem to have spread more. They are just beautiful and such a pretty splash of color with pinks and blues and whites! (Click on blog link for other photo.)
It was a beautiful morning for an early morning bike ride and a gorgeous sunrise over the salt marsh. You can see the Wild Roses starting to bloom… so pretty!
I remember seeing this beautiful wildflower last year, the purple Spiderwort, blooming along the parking lot at the Beech Forest Trailhead, and there it was again this year.
“The three-petaled spiderwort flowers are usually blue to purple, but may also be pink, white, or red. They only remain open for a day (blooming in morning hours and closing at night), but the multiple flowers will continually bloom for up to four to six weeks in summer.”
Have you seen the pretty purple Spiderworts in the parking lot?
