It’s been fun looking for new and different kinds of photographs here on Cape Cod.
Outside the front door of the home that we are renting until our home is built is a Clematis that has gone by. It was quite large and climbing up the light post.
I never got to see it in bloom. But, I loved these two photographs of the Clematis as it starts to seed and then when it is ready to disperse its seeds.
So delicate…
And 2 weeks after I took those 2 photographs, a new flower bloomed. Exquisite colors, don’t you think? It’s still summer!
The Hydrangeas are blooming and magnificent on Cape Cod!
When we lived in Colorado, most of the flowers had died off by mid to late August, so this is such a treat to not only see flowers in September but some are just starting to bloom.
I was taking a walk down by Nauset Beach in Orleans when I saw this Hydrangea by the side of the road. I thought it was exquisite! The colors are just amazing.
I was taking a walk the other day in Orleans on Cape Cod when I saw this pretty orange wildflower that looks like it is dried. It was so interesting and so vibrant in color.
Does anyone know what kind of wildflower it is? I will have to get some new wildflower, birds, wildlife, etc . books for the Cape Cod area. A new adventure…
There were fields and fields of Queen Anne’s Lace wildflowers everywhere as we went for a hike at Fort Hill in Eastham on Cape Cod. They are such a pretty and delicate white wildflower.
And then, as they go by, they shrivel up and turn almost inside out.
