We have had a lot of Tufted Titmice hanging out in our yard this winter. This one was enjoying a drink from our heated bird bath.

Beautiful little bird, don’t you think? I love the twinkle in his eye!

Red-Breasted Merganser At Pleasant Bay On Cape Cod Bay.

This Red-breasted Merganser was having a lot of success fishing in Pleasant Bay. He’d swim around a bit and then dive under… usually coming back up with a fish!

I love his reddish-orange beak and his “bad-hair” day! Beautiful bird, don’t you think?

Great Blue Heron Fishing In Nauset Marsh On Cape Cod

We stopped to watch this Great Blue Heron fish at Nauset Marsh and, before we knew it, it had caught a fish.
