The beach at Nauset Light Beach was pretty busy this weekend as people were enjoying the gorgeous weather at the beach. It was just perfect: sunny, breezy with cool morning temps and warm afternoon temps.
Looks like summer is still here for a bit…
When we bought our kayaks 24+ years ago, it was one of the best purchases we ever made. I don’t think there is anything prettier than being out on the water, especially at Nauset Marsh. (Click on blog link for route photo.)
I loved this photograph of paddling one of the inlets in the salt marsh. It was fun to put our route in our GPS and see how far we paddled, which was almost 8 miles. Wow! Have you ever paddled Nauset Marsh?
The vibrant orange Trumpet Creepers are blooming all over Cape Cod! They are a large woody vine with bright reddish orange tubular flowers. They can grow to 12′ tall and bloom from July through September. (Click on blog link to see other photo.)
I took these photographs at Fort Hill by the side of the road driving up to the overlook. You can see, in the 2nd photograph, how tall and bushy they get. Have you ever seen a Trumpet Creeper?
