Taking It All In At The Beach On Cape Cod.

It was going to be a very hot day so we went to take a walk on Coast Guard Beach about 7:30am. It was warm, but breezy. We followed this elderly lady walking down the beach for a bit. She had her bathing suit on and looked like she was enjoying every minute!

And then she sat down on this rock and we watched the waves splash over her. She was loving it! It was so refreshing… for all of us!

Where Is All The Sand On Coast Guard Beach on Cape Cod?

If you walk down Coast Guard Beach to Nauset Spit at low tide, you can see where all of the sand on Coast Guard Beach has gone. The sandbars are huge, where I’ve never seen sandbars before. (Click on blog link to see other photo.)

It looks like all of the sand missing from the end of the trail by Coast Guard Station has moved down to the end of the beach, making this end of the beach huge. Love the patterns in the sand at low tide.

The Piping Plover Chicks On Cape Cod Grow So Fast!

We couldn’t believe how big the little Piping Plover chicks had gotten in the past couple of weeks. It is amazing how fast they grow. We saw this one, as well as many other babies, at Coast Guard Beach.

Beautiful little birds, don’t you think?
