Back To Winter On Cape Cod.

I woke up yesterday and the temperature was 17 with the wind chill of minus 2. The wind was blowing! Brrrr. Crazy weather we’ve had, just like the rest of the country. Can you imagine snow in the LA mountains? I’ll take some cold temps on Cape Cod any day!

What’s This On Boat Meadow Beach On Cape Cod?

It’s so much fun to walk the beaches and see what new things have washed up or been uncovered on the beach. I saw this on Boat Meadow Beach. It looks like 1/2 of a huge keg. Anyone else have any other ideas as to what it is or what it was used for?

Yesterday Was Frigid On Cape Cod!

When I got up yesterday morning, the wind chill was minus 34! Brrr! It was freezing outside and the wind was howling. (Click on blog link for other photos.)

We took a quick drive to Boat Meadow in the afternoon just to see what the beach looked like. It was pretty frozen.

We managed to get this pano which I thought was pretty cool. What do you think?

For A Split Second At Boat Meadow Beach On Cape Cod.

The weather the past week or so has been rainy, cloudy, and so windy. Yesterday was 25+ mph winds with higher gusts.

We decided to have a little “car picnic” at Boat Meadow Beach just to get out of the house for a while. It was high tide and the waves were rolling in, and the rain had stopped for a bit. And then, for a split second, the sun came out and shown brightly on the crest of the waves. It was so pretty!
