We were just commenting that things at Fort Hill had been pretty quiet lately, when this big, healthy Coyote strolled by. Phil jumped out of the car and clicked away. (Click on blog link for other photo. )
And then, as we were getting ready to leave, another one appeared on the trail. Wow! Double treat!
It’s hard to see the “iconic” rock at Rock Harbor in the winter, especially at high tide. I thought this photograph was so pretty with the snow and ice swirls on the water and the wispy clouds in the sky. What do you think?
It was cloudy when we drove up to Fort Hill for our picnic breakfast, but as you looked out over Nauset Marsh you could see a sliver of coral peeking out above the horizon. The views from Fort Hill are always amazing!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a path to the beach that I haven’t loved. They are all so unique and beautiful… even in winter! So pretty, don’t you think?
