Nauset Marsh Trail On Cape Cod Was Spectacular Yesterday!

Yesterday was one of those Top 10 days here on Cape Cod! The sky and the clouds were unbelievable all day long. We took a nice hike on Nauset Marsh Trail from the visitors center and out along the salt marsh. The falls colors were as vibrant as I’ve ever seen them.

I didn’t even notice the sun behind the clouds until I loaded my photographs on my computer. Pretty amazing, don’t you think?

Lots Of Least Terns Out On The Sandbar At Coast Guard Beach On Cape Cod.

We could hear the Least Terns squawking way out on the sand bar as we walked down Coast Guard Beach. There were hundreds of them out there. And then something scared them.

I loved this photograph as they started to fly away.  What do you think?

Perfect Time For A Hike On White Cedar Swamp Trail On Cape Cod.

White Cedar Swamp Trail in Wellfleet is the perfect hike for the fall with all of the changing colors. This was a beautiful day, sunny and windy. It’s a fairly easy hike with the trail down to the swamp, a boardwalk over the swamp and then an old road back to the trailhead.

So pretty, don’t you think? Have you ever hiked the White Cedar Swamp Trail? It’s perfect for the whole family. Kids love it!

Love The Bridge Over Nauset Marsh On Cape Cod.

One of our favorite walks is from Doane Rock to Coast Guard Beach. Each time you go, it is so different. You can see that fall is here with the marsh grasses turning a yellowy brown.

So pretty, don’t you think? Have you ever walked over this bridge?
