I haven’t see a Snowy Egret in a long time, so this was a real treat to see one at Nauset Marsh. It was low tide so the birds were stalking their prey in the shallow waters. I loved the reflections of the Snowy Egret and the Seagull near the boardwalk.
The lighting was so pretty. What do you think?
Wishing you a Happy Easter. May you find some time to get outside and enjoy nature… or collect some Easter eggs!
I can’t wait until it gets a bit warmer and we can head up to Provincetown for a picnic on Beech Forest Trail, part of the National Seashore just outside of the center of Provincetown. It is such a pretty trail over a boardwalk where you can see many different species of birds, through the forest and around Blackwater Pond. It’s a “must” if you’re in the Provincetown area!
And there, at the end of the trail is the perfect picnic table to relax and enjoy nature.
It only lasted a minute when there wasn’t a ripple in the water and you could see the reflections of these three boats all lined up on Nauset Marsh. And then the wind kicked up… I couldn’t decide if I like black and white or color better.
I couldn’t decide which of these two photographs I liked better. It was a gorgeous day at Coast Guard Beach and someone had put a lobster pot by the entrance making a nice photo op. I took 2 photographs from a few feet away from each other.
