Summer is over and the crowds are gone, and it was a gorgeous day for a walk on Coast Guard Beach. Ahhhh….
I wonder what the beaches will look like after this huge storm…
It was a beautiful morning with the sky filled with hues of pastel colors. I took a ride down to Boat Meadow Beach. It was low tide and you could hear the loud noises of hundreds of birds on the mud flats in the distance.
It was so pretty… there was even a Great Blue Heron fishing in the shallow waters.
Pinch me…. It doesn’t get much prettier!
It was a gorgeous morning to take a walk on Boat Meadow Beach. I almost missed this little Semi-palmated Plover and Sandpipers scurrying about on the mud flats looking for food. (Click on blog link for other photo.) They blended in so well with the sand and mud.
Have you ever seen a Semi-palpated Plover? Pretty bird!
