The colors of the sunset were so pretty over the salt marsh the other night. We are all so lucky to live near the ocean and the bay and be able to see these gorgeous sunrises and sunsets!

Looking For Lunch On The Salt Marsh… A Series Of Photographs.
We were taking a hike along the Nauset Marsh Trail past the Salt Pond when we saw this Great Blue Heron in the marsh stalking his prey for his next meal. (Click on blog link for series of photos.)
I thought it would be interesting to post a series of photos as he was so much fun to watch. In photos 2 and 3 you can see him stalking in the wetlands and then darting for the fish.
The 4th photograph shows his total contentment with his satisfying lunch.
And the last photograph shows him flying away…
Still my favorite bird… he’s just gorgeous!
