This was a beautiful, fiery red sunset over the salt marsh the other night. So pretty how the creek reflects the sky as it winds through the marsh grass. Love the colors!
I saw my first Osprey a couple of weeks ago and then this week, I saw two of them on the nest on the salt marsh. Such a familiar sight for summer on Cape Cod. I love it! Can’t wait to watch their babies grow and fledge!
Every time we walk from Doane Rock to Coast Guard Beach, we see this post in the creek by salt marsh near the bridge. It’s been there a lot of years. I wonder what it is from?
This Red-tailed Hawk has been hanging out in the trees next to the salt marsh…. looking for his next meal. We used to have a family of them in our yard each summer but their nest blew down a couple of winters ago and they have not rebuilt.
You could see the sky starting to turn colors over the salt marsh. So pretty! I quickly drove down to a secret little trail that leads to a gorgeous view of the salt marsh and got this photograph of sunset over the salt marsh and Cape Cod Bay.
