Paddle Surfing Before The Storm At Coast Guard Beach On The National Seashore On Cape Cod

There were quite a few surfers and paddle surfers out on Sunday at Coast Guard Beach when the waves were starting to roll in but the storm had not hit yet. It was pretty cool to watch… surfers in late January!

The Waves Are Huge At Nauset Beach In Orleans On Cape Cod

With a huge storm looming, the waves at Nauset Beach on Cape Cod were huge! I could barely open the door of my car because of the ferocious winds which are supposed to hit 60-70 mph today. Wow!

You can see the sand blowing. It was hard to stand up on the beach!

Nauset Beach In Orleans On Cape Cod After The Snow Storm

Phil took this photograph of me braving the wind and the cold to run down to Nauset Beach and take a photograph. I really liked his version with Liam’s Restaurant all boarded up and the picnic tables up on end with the snow on the beach. The clouds were spectacular!

Nauset Beach On Cape Cod On A Cold Winter Morning

It was a cold and windy early morning at Nauset Beach on Cape Cod, but a glorious day to take a walk. Any day is a glorious day to take a walk on Nauset Beach, or any beach on the National Seashore.

The sun had just gone behind the clouds so it looks almost like dusk.

I loved the wind blowing the spume from the waves.

Beautiful Day At First Encounter Beach On Cape Cod

This was such a pretty day at First Encounter Beach in Eastham on Cape Cod Bay. This is the beach where a hunting expedition from the sailing vessel the Mayflower,  “first encountered” Native Americans in 1620.

Pretty cool, don’t you think?
