It was one of those frigid mornings when we decided to take a ride up to overlook at Fort Hill. It was so pretty with the sun shining over the water at Nauset Marsh.
I love the clouds in the sky… they almost look like a giant fish. What do you think?
I frequently see Swans on the Salt Pond by the Visitors Center but I rarely see them swimming on Nauset Marsh. They were just beautiful as I took a photograph of them through the opening of the trees at Fort Hill.
We saw this interesting kayak that had washed up by Nauset Marsh the other day. We wondered how long it’s been out there and where it’s been. I bet it has lots of stories to tell…
It looks like most of the lobster pots out in Nauset Marsh have been taken in for the winter. You can see a huge stash of them here at Hemenway Landing, waiting to be picked up.
