We took a walk on Coast Guard Beach in Eastham down to Nauset Spit and saw what was a huge “island of seals” not far off of the beach. There were hundreds of them. We had seen a few seals here and there along the coast but never this many. No wonder the Great White Sharks like to come nearby waters to feast.
There must be a sandbar where they all congregate. It was low tide when we took our walk…I wonder if they are still there at high tide?
It was a spectacular evening to take a walk on Nauset Light Beach in Eastham on Cape Cod. The clouds were so pretty with a little breeze on the water. There were still q lot of people on the beach, some with picnic dinners to enjoy their waning summer days.

Rock Harbor Beach in Orleans on Cape Cod was packed the other day when the temperature was well in the 80s. Everyone was looking for a little respite from the heat by enjoying some time at the beach.
This was such a cool photograph of this “Surfer Girl” at Coast Guard Beach, which is part of the National Seashore, on Cape Cod. The lighting was perfect and she looked great!
Pristine day to take a walk on one of the USA’s Top 10 Beaches!
You can see Coast Guard Beach in Eastham on Cape Cod, which is one of the Top 10 Beaches in the USA, through the bushes by the Coast Guard Station. It is part of the National Seashore and truly one of the prettiest beaches you will ever see.
I took one of my friends for a walk there and she commented to me, “Now I remember! This was my very favorite beach on Cape Cod!”
If you haven’t visited Coast Guard Beach, put it on your Bucket List! It is pristine and goes on for miles!
