I love this photograph, looking back toward Commercial Street from Macmillan Wharf, with the Provincetown Public Library in the distance. There are still quite a few boats on the docks.
I love this “Welcome to Provincetown” sign at the beginning of MacMillan Wharf in downtown Provincetown. You can see the Pilgrim Monument in the background towering over the town. The sky was so pretty. Gorgeous clouds!
John’s Foot Long Restaurant is an iconic establishment in Provincetown. Even though it has an extensive menu, it is know for its foot long hot dogs, which are delicious. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
If you want to hear a fun song about John’s Foot Long, go online to www.7522radio.com and click on the Grab Brothers Band from Provincetown. Their song, “Where’s the Relish?” about the “foot longs” is just hysterical and the lyrics will stay with you forever!
(They are closed now for the winter, but put it on your list for next time you’re in Provincetown!)
I love the hustle and bustle of a busy day on Commercial Street in Provincetown and then I love the quiet solitude of an early morning walk downtown. The vibrant colors on the street depict the unique character of Provincetown.
Have you ever walked Commercial Street? Such a fun place to visit…
This is such a pretty view on MacMillan Wharf, looking back toward the town. You can see the Pilgrim Monument in the distance. The sky was perfect and the colors so pretty…
