Huge Bamboo Grove On The Baker’s Pond Trail On Cape Cod.

We were so surprised to see this huge grove of Bamboo trees on the trail around Baker’s Pond in Orleans. It just didn’t fit in with the ambiance of the area.

I wonder how it got there? Who planted it? I’ve seen other groves of Bamboo trees around the area too. I wonder if people use it as a hedge as it’s extremely dense.

The Bridge To Coast Guard Beach From Doane Rock On Cape Cod.

One of my favorite walks is the one from Doane Rock to Coast Guard Beach, any time, any day. It is always spectacular!

I loved this photograph of the bridge looking back over Nauset Marsh. The colors were so pretty.

Red-Throated Loon At Coast Guard Beach On Cape Cod.

I love to see the Red-Throated Loon in the water off of Coast Guard Beach on Cape Cod. It is such an elusive seabird as it continuously dives for its food.

This Loon just surfaced and was looking around, so we got a minute to click away.

The Boardwalk At Fort Hill On Cape Cod In Black And White.

This photograph of the boardwalk on the Red Maple Swamp Trail at Fort Hill says it all. The leaves are have fallen and winter is coming.
