People always ask me “How do you like the winters on Cape Cod?” And I always tell them that I love winter. You just put on an extra layer and a warmer hat and heavier mittens and you’re good to go in any weather. There are very few days all year long where I don’t get outside for a nice, long walk.
Just look at Coast Guard Beach… any day, any time … it’s always spectacular!
It was a spectacular day for a walk to Coast Guard Beach from Doane Rock. The weather was beautiful with a slight breeze on the beach. And then you turned around to head back. Wow! Look at those clouds over the boardwalk. It looks someone threw some cotton candy into the sky!
Hiking the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail, part of Cape Cod National Seashore, is awesome any time of year! A perfect hike for the whole family over this long holiday weekend!
