It had snowed a few days ago and the tide was going out and this was just so pretty with the snow-covered boats at Hemenway Landing. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
Phil really loves black and white photography, so he will frequently take the same pic as me and then we compare. I can’t decide on this one. What do you think?
We’ve seen this seagull sitting on this fence the past couple of mornings that we’ve been at Fort Hill. He looks like he keeps sentry while overlooking Nauset Marsh with Coast Guard Station in the background.
We had stopped at Hemenway for a picnic lunch when this coyote strolled by… and then another. I couldn’t get my camera out in time. And then a few minutes later, one strolled back and then came the other. I was able to get my iPhone out and got one quick photograph. This is it!
It was cool as we’d never seen coyotes there before! Have you?
I love the bank of clouds over the horizon looking out over Nauset Marsh at Fort Hill. When we lived in Colorado, it was sunny 300 days of the year which sounds wonderful, but we really missed seeing clouds in the sky. The clouds on Cape Cod are always gorgeous and always so different! Phil took this one in black and white. Which one do you like better?
This was such a pretty view of Hemenway Landing and Nauset Marsh at low tide with some of the boats still in the water. Even though it’s winter, those dedicated fishermen still go out and brave the weather.
