I took a ride to Nauset Beach yesterday afternoon and was so surprised to see the parking lot almost full and plenty of people sitting on the beach enjoying the gorgeous weather. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
It was very hot and humid at my house and easily 15 degrees cooler at the beach. Clearly, they had all made the right choice! It was the perfect way to spend a hot, summer afternoon with the ocean breezes cooling everyone off!
I don’t think anyone ever gets sick of this view driving down to Nauset Beach. Once you get over the hill, you can see the water over the dunes… and the anticipation sets in.
This was such a pretty morning at Fort Hill with the sun peeking out from behind the heavy bank of clouds. You can even see the sun shining on the water over Nauset Beach in the distance.
