It’s a lot darker in the morning than it was a few weeks ago, so I have to adjust my bike riding time a bit and leave a bit later. I was crossing the salt marsh about 6:30 and I just had to stop and take a few photographs. It was just spectacular!
I edited them a couple of different ways. Which one do you like better?
This Egret was fishing for lunch in one of the tidal ponds on the salt marsh by Boat Meadow Beach. Just as we drove by, he dove in for his meal and… caught a fish!
This is such a typical photograph of early morn on Cape Cod Bay at low tide. No one around and the boats look like they are sleeping on the sand. I took this photograph at Boat Meadow Beach on one of my early bike rides.
The days are getting a little shorter, so it is a little darker when I go on my morning bike ride. I have to leave at 6:15, instead of 6:00. As I rode over the salt marsh, the sunrise to the east was just gorgeous!
It’s been so hot, it even looks a bit hazy.
