We woke up yesterday morning expecting beautiful sunshine but instead saw dense fog and no sun. Where did that come from? (Click on blog link for other photo.)
We decided to take a drive to Fort Hill to see what it looked like there. It was still very foggy and a bit eerie but also very interesting. It looked like all along the shores of Nauset Marsh that someone had turned the sprinklers on. It was really cool. Can you see the water shooting out?
We sat there for quite a while taking photographs as the fog rolled in and out. It actually turned out to be a lot of fun watching the minute-by-minute changing landscape.
There are lots of Mockingbirds at Fort Hill this season and they sure do love to pose to have their picture taken! This guy sat on top of the branch near the beginning of the trail for quite a while as we clicked away. So many poses…
Gorgeous bird, don’t you think? Have you seen any Mockingbirds this year?
These “3 amigos” were just hysterical as they strutted down the middle of the road early in the morning. No one was going to tell them to move. Way too funny, don’t you think?
