Sea Creature Unearthed At Coast Guard Beach On Cape Cod?

The other morning when we were taking a walk in Coast Guard Beach, we came across this “sea creature” sticking out from the sand.  It looked like the recent erosion from various storms had unearthed it from the dunes. (Click on blog link for other photo.)

I wonder how long it has been buried in the sand. After adding a clam shell eye, it looks just like a creature you might find at the deepest ocean’s depths, don’t you think?

Gorgeous, Foggy Sunrise Over Nauset Marsh On Cape Cod.

We were in our way home from the gym and it was really foggy outside. Just as we drove by the Salt Pond we could see the sun trying to peek through the fog.

Thinking we might get a nice photo over Nauset Marsh, we stopped the car at Hemenway Landing. We sure were not disappointed. Gorgeous, don’t you think? Looks like bolt of lightning piercing the sun…

Healthy Coyote Searching For Prey At Fort Hill On Cape Cod.

I’ve seen many coyotes hunting for prey at Fort Hill but they were always pretty far away out in the fields. This coyote was so intent on finding lunch that he wasn’t paying attention to anyone walking by.

Beautiful animal, don’t you think?

Still A Bit Of Ice On The Pond At Beech Forest Trail In Provincetown On Cape Cod.

The pond on the Beech Forest Trail in Provincetown is always gorgeous, no matter what time of the year. This view was so pretty with still a bit of ice on top of the water.

It’s always been a favorite hike for me. What about you?
