This was such a cool photograph of a sandbar at First Encounter Beach with so many seagulls… until the tide comes in.
I loved the clouds on the horizon. What do you think?
With extremely windy conditions lately, the kite surfers were out en force on the salt marsh by First Encounter Beach the other day. We counted 9 of them nearby. (Click on blog link for other photos.)
It was so much fun to watch them as they flew by and then did they acrobatics in the sky. Have you ever seen kite surfers?
How cool is that? They’ve got to be really good to all kite surf in such a small area?
The forecast was for 3 days of high winds and lots of rain, so I was ready to stay inside all day yesterday and get some work done. After lunch, the sun came out briefly and it dried up the roads enough to go for a nice bike ride. What a treat!
The clouds in the sky were spectacular! I took this photograph at First Encounter Beach looking toward one of the dunes. So pretty, don’t you think?
(Those colorful red leaves are poison ivy!)
Last Saturday was a gorgeous day for a bike ride as temps were in the lower 70s here on the Cape. It was just spectacular! (Click on blog link for other photo.)
I loved this photograph of the dune at First Encounter Beach. And then I zoomed out… now I can’t decide which one I like better.
What do you think? Which one do you like better?
There is such a distinct feeling from Labor Day to the day after Labor Day here on Cape Cod. It’s quiet. I went for an early morning bike ride and there was no one else on the road. The week before there were plenty of visitors out biking with me!
The little shack that checks Beach Passes at First Encounter Beach was empty. I love this photograph with the pretty sky and clouds and the sand blown road with no one in the parking lot.
What do you think?
