Rock Harbor is beautiful from the Orleans side or the Eastham side. I love biking down the mile long road to the Eastham launch where you rarely see anyone, except the boaters.
This was such a tranquil day. I loved all of the Cormorants sunning themselves on the docks. So pretty, don’t you think?
Nothing gives me more pleasure than to see a Great Blue Heron in flight. They are so majestic. There were 6 Great Blues feeding in the tall grass on Nauset Marsh on the island across from Hemenway Landing this past week.
It was quite a ways away, but still beautiful! I clicked away. What do you think?
It was a beautiful day for a hike at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary with the sun shining and warm temperatures. One of my favorite hikes is the Silver Spring Loop where there are plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy nature at its best.
There is still a lot of Honeysuckle blooming at FortHill. It has been such a warm fall heron Cape Cod. I walked home from the beach the other day and counted 7 different species of wildflowers that were still blooming. Amazing for the end of October!
It was a beautiful day to hike around Kent’s Point in Orleans on Cape Cod. There are several trails along the beach and through the woods. And there are many places to sit, relax and enjoy the glorious day! If you’re in Orleans, it’s a great place to visit for the whole family!
