I stopped by Rock Harbor on my bike ride the other morning and was greeted with this beautiful view. I love the Egret by the side of the beach grass and the contrasting colors of the jetty.
September is one of my favorite months here on Cape Cod. The weather is usually warm as is the water. And… the people are gone so you have the place to yourself!
This was one of the last days of summer with the people lazing about in the water and on the beach at Rock Harbor. So peaceful…
Phil and I were at Rock Harbor watching the boats the other morning when we saw this fisherman working on his boat. I couldn’t decide if i liked the photograph in black and white or in color. They each give you a different feeling. (Click on blog link for photo in color.)
It was a beautiful evening for a walk to the beach. It was high tide so there were no sand bars…. just a sailboat in the bay and the sun setting in the evening sky.
These fishing boats were all packed up and on their way out to sea by the time I biked over to Rock Harbor. What a beautiful morning! I hope they caught a lot of fish!
