The forecast was for 3 days of high winds and lots of rain, so I was ready to stay inside all day yesterday and get some work done. After lunch, the sun came out briefly and it dried up the roads enough to go for a nice bike ride. What a treat!
The clouds in the sky were spectacular! I took this photograph at First Encounter Beach looking toward one of the dunes. So pretty, don’t you think?
There are still a lot of hopeful sailors at Arey’s Pond… hoping that the weather will hold up for a few more good sails this fall before their boats are retired for the winter. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
You can see the 2 channel markers in the first photo, red and green. As you motor out through the river toward the bay, the 2nd photograph is what you will see. So pretty and so peaceful…
I always love that iconic picture of a surfer walking along the beach holding his surfboard, anticipating the next ride. The sun was so pretty on the water and this surfer as he walked along Coast Guard Beach.
This was such a gorgeous sunset at Boat Meadow the other evening. I love the vibrant yellow and orange colors with the birds in the sky and the fishing boat out in the water.
The little cloud in the sky on the right almost looks like a fish swimming by.
Last Saturday was a gorgeous day for a bike ride as temps were in the lower 70s here on the Cape. It was just spectacular! (Click on blog link for other photo.)
I loved this photograph of the dune at First Encounter Beach. And then I zoomed out… now I can’t decide which one I like better.
What do you think? Which one do you like better?
