I loved this black and white photograph that Phil took of Rock Harbor early one morning last week. It looks like a “retro” photo of the area. You can see all the beach grass that washed up on the dock from the high tides.
Any of the trails to the beaches here on Cape Cod are pretty amazing. This trail leads out to one of the beaches on Wellfleet Harbor. So pretty, even in winter. You can even see Jeremy Point in the distance.
Have you ever seen the beaches on Wellfleet Harbor?
Boat Meadow Beach had a few new gullies after the storm the other day with the rain pummelling the beach and parking lot. You can see how rough Cape Cod Bay is with all those whitecaps. (Click on blog link to see full photo.)
But the benches are still intact, so all is still ok.
It was almost sunset and very cloudy and cold but we decided to go down to Rock Harbor, the Eastham side, to see if there were any pretty photographs. This is what we saw. You can see a little bit of the sun going down in the distance.
I thought it was pretty spectacular. What do you think?
