We woke up yesterday morning to the howling of the wind and some rain on the windows. I thought to myself, “I bet Cape Cod Bay is cranking!” So we took a drive over to Rock Harbor and I got this photograph. The wind and the waves were unbelievable! It’s not often we get such whitecaps on the bayside.
Just beautiful, don’t you think? Love the Seagull flying above.
I saw this old Horseshoe in the beach grass near the flats on Cape Cod Bay. It is covered with shellfish and barnacles that have attached themselves to its shell. It looks ancient… I wonder how old it is.
I love to walk along the beaches of Cape Cod Bay at low tide. You can walk out for miles and… the sand ripples are so fascinating. (Click on blog link to see other photos.)
I was walking along the beach toward Rock Harbor from Boat Meadow the other day when I stopped to look at the sand ripples left by the waters at high tide. They were really interesting. In a couple of hours, they would be all covered over again.
I used the 3 photo settings on my new iPhone 11 Pro Max and thought the photos were pretty cool. What do you think?
The clouds here on Cape Cod have been more than amazing the past few weeks. I was at Boat Meadow Beach the other day. The clouds and sky were spectacular!
It doesn’t get much prettier! What do you think?
